§ Mr. OrmeSome 90,000 supplementary benefit recipients were transferred to housing benefits during the special exercise which ran from October 1974 to September 1976. Since then some recipients may have decided to transfer, and others claiming supplementary benefit will have been advised that they might be better off with rebates. No statistics have been collected.
