§ Mr. Terry Walkerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what steps he will take to ensure that conditions are met which are laid down when a development is allowed by the Secretary of State after a public inquiry, in the light of the development by English and Continental Homes at Longwell Green in the Kings-wood parliamentary constituency.
§ Mr. Guy BarnettI understand that agreements between the developers and local authorities are almost concluded and that outline planning permission is expected shortly. It is entirely for the Kingswood District Council to determine the planning conditions to be imposed and to enforce them if necessary.
