asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a further statement of policy regarding the disposal of nuclear waste, recycling and other relevant factors.

My hon. Friend will be aware that the Government published on 27th May 1977 a White Paper (Cmnd 6820) in response to the Sixth Report of the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution (Cmnd 6618) on Nuclear Power and the Environment. I have nothing to add at this time.
