HL Deb 04 July 1977 vol 385 c154WA
Lord DUNLEATH

asked Her Majesty's Government:

For how much longer the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland anticipates that he will have to contemplate the Report of the Standing Advisory Commission on Human Rights in connection with divorce reform in the Province, which was delivered to the Northern Ireland Office on 18th April last, before he is able to make a recommendation.

The MINISTER of STATE, NORTHERN IRELAND OFFICE (Lord Melchett)

My right honourable friend the Secretary of State is arranging for the report to be published and hopes soon to be able to make a Statement about it.
