§ Mr. Leeasked the Secretary of State for Trade if in the light of the persistent failure of the Grunwick company to comply with the provisions of the company law with regard to the prompt furnishing of returns and in respect of the holding of annual meetings of the company, he will now institute proceedings for the winding up of the company.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisNo. The Companies Act 1948, section 224(1)(b), provides that an application for winding up on such 441W grounds may be presented only by a shareholder in the company.
