§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the total sum paid from public funds to persons dependent on supplementary benefit and aid from the Supplementary Benefits Commission to offset the amounts being paid by the recipients in fines during 1974, 1975 and 1976; and how many individual fines and how many separate instalments of fines were paid for by funds from the Supplementary Benefits Commission.
