Mr. Gwynfor Evans

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (1) what is the estimated total cost of maintaining the British Embassy at Washington in the current year;

(2) what is the estimated total cost of maintaining the British Embassy in Dublin in the current year.

It is estimated that in the year 1976–77 the approximate cost of the British Embassy at Washington will be £4.58 million and of that at Dublin £0.37 million.
