HC Deb 27 January 1977 vol 924 c742W
Mr. Nicholas Winterton

asked the Minister for the Civil Service if the Prime Minister's official car is used for any other than official duties; and who pays the cost in such cases.

Mr. Marks

I have been asked to reply.

It is established practice for a Prime Minister to use his official car for private purposes if he wishes, and to pay for any such use.
