§ Mr. FreesonI went to Liverpool to chair the final meeting of the Steering Committee of the Inner Area Study. The committee discussed the summary report of the study published on 12th January, and the final report due to be published in the summer. I stressed the importance I attach to the three studies, as a major contribution to the Government's current review of inner urban policy.
