§ Mr. Joel BarnettOur current work on industrial strategy is intended to provide the right conditions for an expansion of exports and improvement in manufacturing productivity. In particular, the sector working parties' latest reports and recommendations are being considered at next week's NEDC meeting. I shall, of course, also be considering the comments received on the Inland Revenue's consultative document about the taxation of overseas earnings.
