§ Mr. HoramAn estimate at outturn prices of the cost of winter maintenance of motorways in the United Kingdom which includes salting and snow ploughing in each of the respective years is as follows:—1973–74, £0.910 million; 1974–75, £1.160 million; 1975–76, £1.42 million.
