§ Mr. GoldingI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that in the current financial year to date 7,000 vacancies have been filled by PER. The number of placements when expressed as a percentage of the number of persons enrolling with PER in the same period is approximately 4½ per cent.

The average salary for each job now being filled by PER is £3,600.
