§ 21. Mr. Gryllsasked the Secretary of State for Defence what arrangements have been made for hon. Members to attend the Naval Review at Spithead on 28th June 1977.
§ Mr. DuffyIn accordance with Her Majesty the Queen's express wish that there should be no undue expenditure on Silver Jubilee celebrations, invitations to guests to witness the review will be on a 513W more limited scale than on previous comparable occasions. Nevertheless, we do intend to make places available to Members of both Houses although, depending on the response, it may be necessary to hold a ballot. I intend to notify the arrangements through the usual channels as soon as possible.
