Mr. Litterick

asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) if he will publish in the Official Report figures showing the value of British arms sales to NATO allies during each of the last five years for which this information is available and the value of arms purchases from NATO allies during the same period;

(2) what was the total value of British armaments exports and imports during each of the last five years for which this information is available.

On the latest available information, the total value of British armament exports for each of the years 1971–72 to 1975–76 is as follows:
