§ Mr. Banksasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when negotiations will begin between Her Majesty's Government and the Government of the German Democratic Republic to settle claims arising from assets held by British nationals.
§ Mr. LuardIt is expected that the processing of claims received by the Foreign Compensation Commission will be completed by the end of February. These claims will then be presented to the Government of the German Democratic Republic and it is hoped that negotiations will commence as soon as they have completed their examination of the claims.
