§ Mr. Pardoeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list all the 616W new office development in the area of the GLC which is currently at the planning stage and which DHSS intends to occupy in whole or in major part on completion.
§ Mr. MarksNo new Crown buildings are in planning in the GLC area for occupation by the Department of Health and Social Security.
Negotiations are in progress with the developers of three proposed new buildings which, subject to agreement on terms and the availability of funds, the Property Services Agency proposes to lease for occupation by DHSS local offices in Dulwich, Eltham and Richmond. The present deferment of building works announced by the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 15th December may, however, delay the necessary occupational services and this could affect the negotiations.
