§ Mr. ShoreThe operation of cash limits has affected neither the number nor the location of the staff in the Department of the Environment, nor is any such effect forecast for the remainder of the current financial year. In general, however, the effect of cash limits has been to add impetus to the drive for economy and increased efficiency in the administration of the Department's services.
