§ Mr. ShoreAs my right hon. Friend the Minister for Housing and Construction told my hon. Friend the Member for Mitcham and Morden (Mr. Douglas-Mann) on 23rd December 1976—[Vol. 923, c. 263–4.]—the Government will be supporting the Housing (Homeless Persons) Bill, which was presented to the House on 22nd December by the hon. Member for Isle of Wight (Mr. Ross), and with which my hon. Friend the Member for Caerphilly (Mr. Evans) is closely involved. In the light of developments on this, we will consider the need for such further measures as the issue of a circular of guidance to local authorities.
