§ Mr. Rossiasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish in the Official Report an amended version of the table on page 75 of the White Paper on Public Expenditure to 1979–80, taking account of the proposed cuts in spending on the Community Land Act during the next two financial years; and if he will publish details of the proposed level of spending at 1976 survey prices under the Community Land Act in each of the next three financial years.
§ Mr. Joel BarnettDetails of the Government's plans for expenditure under the Community Land Scheme will be set out in the next White Paper.
The effect of the cuts in spending for 1977–78 and 1978–79 on acres bought and sold cannot be forecast precisely, but the level of activity under the scheme during the next two years is likely to be of the order of 60 per cent. of that assumed in the original programme.
