§ Mr. Merlyn ReesI received the Report of the Departmental Committee on the Future of Broadcasting, under the Chairmanship of Lord Annan, today and will publish it as soon as possible. I should like to take this opportunity to thank Lord Annan and the members of the committee for the immense amount of work they have done. I recognise and pay tribute to their invaluable public service. I intend to arrange full consultations when the report is published.
