§ Mr. Rifkindasked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he will make representations to the Governments of Arab States to cease their insistence that goods exported from the United Kingdom should be accompanied by a document certifying that they are not of Israeli origin, in view of the decision by Arab Governments to cease that requirement in 89W respect of goods exported to them from the USA.
§ Mr. MeacherI am aware of the Press reports suggesting that a relaxation of the boycott requirements has been introduced by certain Arab Governments and am investigating the facts.
