HC Deb 25 February 1977 vol 926 cc751-2W
Mr. Faulds

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what conclusions his Department has drawn from the improper destruction of a building circa 1200 at 28–32 Queen Street, King's Lynn; and how this will affect future policy.

Mr. Shore

, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 24th February 1977], gave the following information:

Listed building consent for the demolition of 28–32 Queen Street, King's Lynn, was given in October 1976 and there is no evidence of any illegal action. However, I am investigating the particular circumstances in which the demolition was carried out.
