asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the average level of earnings for civilian employees at Central Ordnance Depots Chilwell, Donnington and Bicester in 1975 and 1976.

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many civilian vacancies currently exist at Central Ordnance Depots Chilwell, Donnington and Bicester, respectively.

The number of vacancies for civilian staff at the three Depots varies from week to week. On 24th February 1977 the number of vacancies which the Depots would normally seek to fill were: COD Chilwell, 0; COD Donnington, 14; COD Bicester, seven.

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many civilian retirements are anticipated during the next two years at Central Ordnance Depots, Chilwell, Donnington and Bicester.

Mr. Duffy

Forecasts of expected retirements of civilian staff fluctuate from time to time. The current forecasts for each depot during the next two years are: COD Chilwell, 107; COD Donnington, 71; COD Bicester, 69.
