Mr. John H. Osborneasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, in the light of such action as that of the South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive in paying staff £100 per head to move from one office to another a few hundred yards away without involving a change of residence, he will further instruct local authorities on cutting down expenditure.
