HC Deb 24 February 1977 vol 926 c650W
Mr. Dodsworth

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how he expects the Bullock Report on Industrial Democracy to be implemented in the farming and other agricultural industries; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. John Silkin

The Bullock Committee recommended that its proposals should apply only to companies with 2,000 or more employees. This coverage would probably exclude the farming industry, but would include various companies associated with that industry. The Government have begun general consultations with the CBI and the TUC on the Bullock Report with a view to achieving a lasting solution.
