§ Mr. McCuskerasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will request the Sports Council for Northern Ireland to initiate discussions with the Gaelic Athletic Association with a view to the latter removing from its rules those of an overt political nature and which tend to be a divisive influence in Northern Ireland society.
§ Mr. CarterThis is a matter for the Sports Council for Northern Ireland. I understand that the Council will pursue discussions with the Gaelic Athletic Association about its rules.
