HC Deb 23 February 1977 vol 926 cc618-9W
19. Mr. Monro

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what discussions he has had this year with the Scottish Development Agency relating to the provision of new jobs in the next 12 months.

Mr. Milian

I am in frequent contact with the Chairman and the Chief Executive of the SDA, formally and informally, on issues covering the whole range of their functions, of which the expansion of job opportunities is of course a vital component.

Mr. Fairbairn

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the cost in rental of the Scottish Development Agency offices in Glasgow; what was the cost of carpeting the parquet floors in the office; what was the cost of the other renovations; and what was the cost of the alterations including a shower personally requested by the chairman.

Mr. George Mackenzie

These are all matters for the agency.
