§ 26. Mr. Smallasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the referral rate for persons of all ages requiring treatment either as out-patients or seeking admission for mental health treatment and the age and sex of acceptances to mental hospitals in the years 1974 to 1976.
Mr. EwingInformation is not available in the form requested. Statistics relating to mental and mental deficiency hospitals are collected only for admissions, bed use—including numbers on waiting lists—and out-patient attendances. Appropriate extracts of the 1975 edition, which has not yet been 621W published, have been inserted in the 1974 edition. Figures for 1976 will not be available for some time.
