§ Mr. Scottasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what Government aid, financial or otherwise, it is proposed to give to local councils which have to accept responsibility for accommodating Malawi Asian refugees.
§ Mr. JohnFinancial assistance to local authorities from central Government already takes account of housing pressures and needs. I see no reason for special additional assistance in the circumstances the hon. Member has mentioned.
