§ Dr. GilbertIllegitimate children and their parents are not singled out for discriminatory treatment in any departmental legislation, regulations or rules. An illegitimate child is regarded as "a child of the family" and treated in the same way as any legitimate child for Service purposes if it has been brought up at some time in the household of the husband and wife.
