asked the Secretary of State for Transport what is the average waiting time for driving tests at the Dundee centre.

Mr. Horam

Between 15th October 1976 and 14th January 1977 the waiting period had been reduced from six months to 16 weeks. The recent bad weather has, however, caused a number of tests to be cancelled, and the average waiting time is at present 17 weeks.
