§ Mr. McElhoneThis is a matter for the Western Isles Islands Council. The cost would have to be contained within its capital allocations, which, in common with those to all other authorities, are restricted in the present economic circumstances. Grant might be payable under the Congested Districts (Scotland) Act 1897, but no undertaking can be given on this at present.
