§ Mr. Robert SheldonIn the five calendar years 1972–76, 46 persons were convicted in Northern Ireland for offences involving the misuse of oil not permitted to be used in road vehicles. The penalties, ranging from £10 to £200, amounted to £3,042. In no case was a custodial sentence imposed.
