HC Deb 21 February 1977 vol 926 cc491-2W
Mr. Geoffrey Finsberg

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether he has any proposals for relaxing licensing hours on 7th June, the day set aside for the Silver Jubilee celebrations.

Mr. Mason

The permitted hours during which intoxicating liquor may be sold in public places are laid down in the Licensing Act (NI) 1971 but extensions of the hours for certain premises may be granted by the courts.
