§ Mr. Moonmanasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many meetings she has had with the officials of the National Association of Teachers of Further and Higher Education during the past two years; what arrangements exist to meet them during the next few months; and what rôle she envisages this section of education might play in the nation's education debate.
§ Mr. OakesThere have been three meetings since the foundation of the association in January 1976; they have requested another meeting in the near future. The association was involved in the first round of discussions on education, and will be represented at the regional conferences which are about to begin; it is expected to make a particular contribution to the consideration of matters related to education and training of teachers.
