§ Mr. Spriggsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether there will be any changes in the cash limits on expenditure by the Property Services Agency in 1976–77.
§ Mr. MarksYes, it has been necessary to increase the limit for Block DOE 5 which covers the Agency's staff costs by an additional £1.3 million to £110.8 million. This has been caused by a drop in receipts, which are difficult to forecast, and by an increase in the sterling cost of expenditure overseas which has reduced the expected savings on staff costs in 1976–77. Block DOE 8 is being reduced by £1.3 million to ensure that there is no increase in the total expenditure subject to cash limits by the Agency. These changes will be reflected in the Supplementary Estimates presented to Parliament.
