§ Mr. Ronald Brownasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish in the Official Report a list of those banks currently in receipt of a full banking licence, those which have had their licence revoked during the period 1973 to the latest date and the number of applications at present in abeyance.
§ Mr. Denzil DaviesThere is no system for licensing banks in the United Kingdom, although there are various Acts of Parliament that provide for different types of recognition for different purposes.
