§ Mr. David Priceasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what contribution he intends to make from central government funds to the Hampshire police authority to cover the exceptional costs falling to that authority of policing the Royal Fleet Review in Portsmouth from 24th to 28th June 1977, which will otherwise fall on the Hampshire ratepayer.
§ Dr. SummerskillIn accordance with the standing arrangements for police grant, the costs of policing will attract a specific grant of 50 per cent. and are taken into account in fixing the level of rate support grant.
