§ Mr. FreesonThere is no such cut. The estimated total cost of housing subsidies in England for 1977–78, including rate fund contributions but excluding rent rebates and rent allowances, is £1,203 million at 1976 Survey prices, which is £118 million more than the corresponding estimate for the current year on the same price basis.
