asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many members of the public have been killed or injured in the last five years as a result of entering the danger areas of rifle ranges during firing by (a) units of the Services and (b) civilian rifle clubs.

Lord WINTERBOTTOM

Over the past five years there has been one reported case of injury to a member of the public caused by entry into the danger area of a Service rifle range during firing by a Service unit. There have been no reported cases involving civilian rifle clubs
