Mr. Henderson

asked the Minister for Overseas Development how many copies of each of the following newspapers are purchased every day by his Department in order to keep himself and senior civil servants informed on Scottish affairs: The Scotsman, the Glasgow Herald, the Press and Journal, the Daily Record, the Scottish Daily Express and the Dundee Courier and Advertiser.

Mr. Tomlinson

Two copies of theScotsman and three of the Glasgow Herald are purchased. The other newspapers are not taken.
