§ Mr. MeacherInformation for the years 1967 to 1974 is published in Volume I of the annual publications "Annual Statement of the Trade of the United Kingdom". Information for 1975 and 1976 is published in Tables II and V of 11W the December issues of the monthly "Overseas Trade Statistics of the United Kingdom". Before 1976, gold, other than jewellery and goldsmiths' wares, and monetary items were excluded from the figures. In 1976 trade in gold coin and other coin of legal tender is included. In both cases the amounts involved for the individual countries would generally be small. Copies of all these publications are available in the House of Commons Library.
