§ Mr. Speedasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will now give the revised dates for the anticipated start of construction and completion of the various sections of the M20 motorway.
§ Mr. HoramThe section of the M20 at present under construction between Swanley and West Kingsdown is expected to be completed in the spring of this year. For the estimated starting dates of the remaining sections of the M20, I refer the hon. Member to the answer given to my hon. Friend the Member for Wigan (Mr. Fitch) on 25th January and 1st February—[Vol. 924, c. 580; Vol. 925, c. 106–18.] I would expect the contract periods to be from two to three years.
