Mr. Townsend

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the total number of people unemployed, and the percentage these figures represent of the total work force in each employment office area in the London borough of Bexley; and what were the corresponding figures of each year since 1970.

The first table below shows the numbers of people registered as unemployed in the Bexley, Erith and Sidcup Employment Office areas. Unemployment rates are calculated only for the whole of the Greater London travel-to-work area and these are shown in the second table.
