§ Mr. Cormackasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will specify the conditions and advantages under which public and private organisations, such as charitable trusts, public companies and trade or professional associations, and private individuals would be acceptable as partners with the Government in funding the preservation for public enjoyment of historic houses and their contents.
§ Mr. ShoreThe precise conditions and advantages of such arrangements would depend on the circumstances of each particular case and the advice I received from the Historic Buildings Council and others.
