§ Dr. OwenThe United Kingdom will elect 81 Members of the European Parliament. It is not possible to say how many additional, directly related jobs might arise. This will depend on the staffing needs of the enlarged Assembly and on arrangements for supporting staff for the elected representatives, on which no decisions have yet been taken.
