HC Deb 10 February 1977 vol 925 c798W
19. Mr. Thompson

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on the progress of his discussions regarding the introduction of a simple method of citation of accused persons and witnesses which would apply throughout the United Kingdom.

Mr. Dunn

Northern Ireland Office officials, in consultation with the Home Office and the Scottish Home and Health Department, are examining the possibilities of amending the law on this very complex matter.
