Additional assistance has been given to the shipbuilding industry.

Details of selective assistance offered and regional development grants paid are published regularly in Trade and Industry in accordance with the arrangements

Trunk Plan and the C6 Programme are sufficient to warrant the continuation of the capital expenditure envisaged by those plans.

From the close monitoring of Chrysler's activities carried out by my Department I see no cause why I should decline to accept the certificates of progress given by the management of Chrysler (United Kingdom) Limited.
