32. Mr. Marten

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on the carriage of pigeons by British Railways.

Mr. Horam

As I said in response to a Question from my hon. Friend the Member for Hemel Hempstead (Mr. Corbett) on 7th February, British Railways are continuing to carry the traffic while they review with my Department the implications of the Central Transport Consultative Committee's recommendations.

38. Mr. Gwilyn Roberts

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will now make a statement on the carriage of pigeons on British Railways.

60. Mr. Boscawen

asked the Secretary of State for Transport whether he intends to make an early statement on the Central Transport Users' Consultative Committee's recommendation regarding carriage of unaccompanied livestock by rail.
