§ Mr. Channonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when he proposes to introduce legislation to ratify the Council of Europe Convention on Terrorism recently signed by Her Majesty's Government.
§ Dr. OwenIt is Her Majesty's Government's firm intention to ratify the Convention at the earliest opportunity, but I cannot yet say when parliamentary time can be found for the legislation to make this possible. It will involve amendment of the existing law on extradition, which is the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Home Department.
